MergeImages.net provides a free, browser-based tool for merging and combining images. All image processing occurs locally in your web browser, and no images are uploaded to or stored on our servers.

3. User Responsibilities

When using our Service, you agree to:

  • Use the Service only for lawful purposes
  • Not upload or process any images that you do not have the right to use
  • Not use the Service to create illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security features of the Service
  • Not use automated systems or scripts to access the Service
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the images you process using our Service. MergeImages.net does not claim any ownership over your images or the resulting merged images. The website design, logos, and code are the property of MergeImages.net and are protected by copyright laws.

5. Content Guidelines

You agree not to use the Service to process images that:

  • Contain illegal content or promote illegal activities
  • Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
  • Contain malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Are defamatory, harassing, or threatening
  • Violate the privacy or publicity rights of others
  • Contain explicit content involving minors
  • Contain pornography, obscene sexual material, or other indecent content
  • Contain content that is otherwise exploitative, morally objectionable, or inappropriate for a general audience

6. AI Services & Credits

MergeImages.net offers AI-powered image processing features (upscaling, background removal) that require credits. By purchasing credits or subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Each AI upscale consumes 1 credit regardless of the model selected
  • If an AI upscale fails due to a processing error, your credit is automatically refunded
  • Purchased credits never expire. Free signup credits expire after 30 days
  • AI upscaling produces the best results on images under 2048px. For images already at high resolution (4000px+), the AI may produce minimal visible improvement — this is expected behavior, not a service failure
  • Output dimensions are capped at 8192px per side due to browser processing limits
  • Premium AI models (Recraft Crisp, Clarity, Gemini Flash, Magnific) are available to subscribers and Popular/Pro credit pack holders
  • We reserve the right to modify available AI models, pricing, and credit allocations at any time

7. Refund Policy

Credits are non-refundable once purchased. However, credits consumed by failed AI processing are automatically restored to your account. If you experience a technical issue that results in lost credits, contact us and we will investigate and restore credits where appropriate.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no warranties regarding the quality, accuracy, or reliability of any results obtained through the Service. AI-generated results vary based on input image quality, resolution, and content — results are not guaranteed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MergeImages.net shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MergeImages.net and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites. Visiting third-party links is at your own risk.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
