Matte photo paper, 33x48mm. Head must be 28-33mm high and 15-22mm wide. Cut the photo to exactly 15 x 20 mm (0.6" x 0.8") — any deviation beyond 0.5 mm can trigger rejection.

A standard 4x6 inch (10x15 cm) print sheet holds 50 photos at this size — a cost-effective option at any photo kiosk or home printer. Leave a small margin between cuts.

The background must be plain white and completely uniform — any gradients, shadows, or patterns are grounds for rejection.

Chinese passport renewal can be done at Exit-Entry Administration offices. Many photo studios near these offices specialize in compliant photos.

China passport applications typically require you to submit printed photos with your application form at a passport office, post office, or consulate. Bring 2 copies unless the application form specifies otherwise.

Photo recency requirement: Must be taken within the last 6 months.
