Malaysia Visa 35x45mm-Foto

Photo paper, 35x50mm (taller than standard). Blue background for MyKad, white for passport. Cut the photo to exactly 35 x 45 mm (1.4" x 1.8") — any deviation beyond 0.5 mm can trigger rejection.

A standard 4x6 inch (10x15 cm) print sheet holds 8 photos at this size — a cost-effective option at any photo kiosk or home printer. Leave a small margin between cuts.

The background must be light blue and completely uniform — any gradients, shadows, or patterns are grounds for rejection.

Malaysia uses 35x50mm photos (taller than the ICAO standard 35x45mm). MyKad photos require a blue background while passport photos require white.

Attach printed Visa 35x45mm photos securely to your visa application form. Some Malaysia consulates require photos to be affixed with adhesive on the back — avoid staples which can damage the print.

Photo recency requirement: Must be taken within the last 6 months.
