Finland Visa-Foto

Matte or glossy photo paper, 36x47mm (unique Finnish size). Cut the photo to exactly 36 x 47 mm (1.4" x 1.9") — any deviation beyond 0.5 mm can trigger rejection.

A standard 4x6 inch (10x15 cm) print sheet holds 8 photos at this size — a cost-effective option at any photo kiosk or home printer. Leave a small margin between cuts.

The background must be light grey and completely uniform — any gradients, shadows, or patterns are grounds for rejection.

Finland uses a slightly non-standard photo size (36x47mm instead of 35x45mm). Make sure to select the Finnish format specifically.

Attach printed Visa photos securely to your visa application form. Some Finland consulates require photos to be affixed with adhesive on the back — avoid staples which can damage the print.

Photo recency requirement: Must be taken within the last 6 months.
