Finland Passport 21x28mm-Foto

Matte or glossy photo paper, 36x47mm (unique Finnish size). Cut the photo to exactly 21 x 28 mm (0.8" x 1.1") — any deviation beyond 0.5 mm can trigger rejection.

A standard 4x6 inch (10x15 cm) print sheet holds 21 photos at this size — a cost-effective option at any photo kiosk or home printer. Leave a small margin between cuts.

The background must be light grey and completely uniform — any gradients, shadows, or patterns are grounds for rejection.

Finland uses a slightly non-standard photo size (36x47mm instead of 35x45mm). Make sure to select the Finnish format specifically.

Finland passport applications typically require you to submit printed photos with your application form at a passport office, post office, or consulate. Bring 2 copies unless the application form specifies otherwise.

Photo recency requirement: Must be taken within the last 6 months.
