Print on glossy or matte photo paper at 300 DPI minimum. Most home inkjet printers produce sufficient quality at this resolution. Cut the photo to exactly 38 x 51 mm (1.5" x 2.0") — any deviation beyond 0.5 mm can trigger rejection.

A standard 4x6 inch (10x15 cm) print sheet holds 4 photos at this size — a cost-effective option at any photo kiosk or home printer. Leave a small margin between cuts.

The background must be plain white and completely uniform — any gradients, shadows, or patterns are grounds for rejection.

Zambia passport applications typically require you to submit printed photos with your application form at a passport office, post office, or consulate. Bring 2 copies unless the application form specifies otherwise.
