Meesho Catalog Photo Background Remover
The tool on this page works exactly like every other preset here. The spec does not, and you should know that before you use it. Meesho does not publish its catalog image requirements on the open web: the guidelines live inside the Supplier Panel behind a login, and supplier.meesho.com returns HTTP 403 to anything that is not a logged-in browser. So the numbers below are what sellers consistently report, clearly labelled as such, and the source row of the spec table says so rather than pretending we read them off a Meesho page.
Pick your category
Meesho does not apply one rule to everything. Each option below loads the editor with a different export size and background.
1200 x 1200 sits above every minimum third-party guides quote (they range from 500 to 1500). None of those numbers is a Meesho publication.

What we could not verify: Checked on 2026-07-26: supplier.meesho.com and www.meesho.com/supplier-panel both return HTTP 403 to non-browser clients, and Meesho's own learning-hub pages state that the detailed image guidelines are provided inside the Supplier Panel rather than publishing them. Unlike Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa and AJIO, Meesho has no Fynd Commerce integration-partner mirror we could read. Treat every number in this table as seller-reported and confirm it against your own Supplier Panel before you rely on it.
Marketplace specs change and are frequently category-dependent. Treat this table as a starting point, follow the source link, and confirm against your own seller portal before a bulk upload.
What Meesho actually requires
What can be said with confidence about Meesho catalog images comes from the platform's public seller pages rather than a spec sheet: upload images in JPEG without any logo or watermark, do not use partial product images or props, and upload more than one image so buyers can see the product properly. Those are qualitative rules and they are genuinely Meesho's. The quantitative ones — a 1000 x 1000 minimum, a 1:1 crop, a 5 MB ceiling, ten images per catalog — come from seller guides that repeat each other and disagree on the numbers. We are showing them because they are what the market believes, and labelling them because belief is not documentation.
The Meesho rejection that is not about pixels: someone else's logo
Meesho's reseller model means enormous numbers of catalog images originate from a supplier who is not the person uploading them, and the most consistently reported takedown is a first image that still carries the original supplier's brand logo, watermark or MRP sticker. This is the one rule where a background remover is genuinely the right tool: cut the product out of the original photograph entirely and put it on a clean field, and the watermark that lived on the backdrop goes with it. A logo printed on the product itself is a different problem and this tool will not remove it — that needs the object remover, and if the product is genuinely another brand's, removing the logo is not the fix either.
What this page will not do for you
The tool is real. The spec is not verified, and we would rather lose the visitor than pretend. Use the export as a well-made cutout at a size that clears every figure sellers quote, then check the actual requirement in your Supplier Panel before bulk-uploading a catalog. This page does not upscale, it does not remove logos printed on the product itself, and it cannot tell you Meesho's current minimum resolution. If you have Supplier Panel access and can screenshot the guidelines page, that is exactly what would let us upgrade this page's source from third-party consensus to a real citation.
Meesho photo questions
What is the correct image size for a Meesho catalog?
We cannot tell you from a primary source, and any page that states one confidently is likely repeating a third-party guide. Meesho keeps its image guidelines inside the Supplier Panel. The most commonly repeated figure is a 1000 x 1000 minimum at 1:1, but published guides also claim 500, 1200 and 1500. The presets here export 1200 x 1200 or 1200 x 1600, above every one of those claims.
Why does this page say the spec is unverified when other tools state it?
Because we checked and could not reach a Meesho publication on 2026-07-26. supplier.meesho.com returns 403 to non-browser clients and Meesho's own learning hub says the detailed guidelines are provided in the Supplier Panel. Other tools may have Supplier Panel access, or they may be copying the same third-party guides we found. We would rather show you the gap than launder a number.
Can I remove another supplier's watermark from a Meesho image?
If the watermark sits on the background, removing the background removes it, and that is a legitimate use of this page. If a logo is printed on the product itself, this tool cannot help and the object remover is the right one to try. If the product is genuinely another brand's and you are reselling it, editing out their branding is not a compliance fix.
Does Meesho allow PNG?
Meesho's public seller pages ask for JPEG and say not to include logos or watermarks. Seller guides commonly say PNG is also accepted. Since we cannot verify that from Meesho, the presets here export JPEG, which is the format Meesho's own public pages name.
Selling the same SKU in more than one place? The background rules genuinely differ between these platforms — do not reuse one export everywhere.
