If your photo is already very small, the tool pads the file using a standard JPEG comment segment so it meets the minimum KB requirement without altering any pixels.

All processing runs entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your photo is never transmitted to any server. This matters for sensitive ID documents: you retain full control of your biometric data.
