The background must be White background only and completely uniform — any gradients, shadows, or patterns are grounds for rejection.
Submitting Your Passport Photo
UAE uses the 40x60mm format (larger than European standard). For Emirates ID renewal through ICA Smart Services, digital photo upload is accepted.
United Arab Emirates passport applications typically require you to submit printed photos with your application form at a passport office, post office, or consulate. Bring 2 copies unless the application form specifies otherwise.
