A standard 4x6 inch (10x15 cm) print sheet holds 8 photos at this size — a cost-effective option at any photo kiosk or home printer. Leave a small margin between cuts.

The background must be Plain light-colored background (white, off-white, or light grey) and completely uniform — any gradients, shadows, or patterns are grounds for rejection.

Australia Post offices offer passport photo services for around AUD $19.95, or you can use our free tool and print at home.

Australia driving licence photos are usually submitted at the licensing authority or vehicle registration office. Check whether they photograph applicants on-site or require you to supply a printed photo.
